Ode à Opera House

Em 1995, Alan John e Dennis Watkins compuseram uma música-ópera "The Eighth Wonder", homenageando a Opera House. Essa música voltou às paradas de sucesso em 2000, durante as olimpíadas de Sydney. Em seus versos, ela diz:


"...Between earth and sky
Entre o céu e a terra
It's here you live and here you die
É aqui que você vive e aqui você morre
And the spirit of man
E o espírito do homem
Is torn between
Fica dividido entre
The earth he knows
A terra que ele conhece
And the sky he's seen..."
E o céu em que ele é visto
